Stephen Harper's government has announced in its throne speech a scheme to throw open our doors to foreign ownership in Canada's communications sector.

This would do serious damage to Canada’s cultural sovereignty because those who control the media also control the message. If foreign companies are allowed to control our media, Canadian stories will fade to black.

Please send a a strong message to your MP about the importance of maintaining Canadian ownership and control of our media and communications companies.
